Exporting a Static Layer

You can now create an additional custom static layer. This will allow to show original territory boundaries on your new sales territory map.

 

Step 1: Click File

Step 2: Select Export as Static Layer

Select export (1), and then select "Export Territories as Static Layer" (2)

 

 

Step 3: Name the New Layer

Next, type in a name for the static layer you are creating. AlignMix will default to "Old Territory Boundaries" (1), Then click Next (2)

 

 

Step 4: Customize the New Layer

In this next screen you can customize the way your new static layer will appear on your territory map. You can adjust the color (1), width of the line (2) and at what zoom level the layer should appear at (3). When you are done customizing, click next (4)

 

Step 5: Choose how to use the Static Layer

Selecting the first option will place this new static layer into the map that you are currently working on. The second option will allow you to save the static layer for use in any AlignMix map file. Click next (2) after you have made your choice.

 

Step 6: That's it!

As you can see in the image above the blue boundary represents the new static layer "old territory boundaries" it can be toggled on and off of the map in the layer options menu.
