Territory Properties

In the territory properties you can view a summary table of all the data that is found in the selected territory. You can also assign the sales territory to a sales rep and a district. In this view you can also edit the name, labels, and the color of the sales territory.

To view the properties for a territory you first need to pull up the radial tool (right click) and then select properties.

The first two fields are for the sales territory ID (1) and the sales territory name (2). These can either be the same or different. It is up to you and your organization to decide.

You can also change the assigned sales rep by clicking on the drop-down menu (3) or add a new sales rep to this sales territory by clicking the plus sign (4)

If you have already imported or created sales districts you can assign this sales territory to one of them by clicking the second dropdown menu (5) or add a new one by clicking on the plus sign (6)

You can also change the color of the sales territory by clicking on the color button (7). You can then choose to lock the sales territory by clicking the check box (8). This will prevent the sales territory from being modified. The software defaults to a lock color that is a bit darker than the assigned sales territory. You can change this by clicking the drop down menu (9)

You can also customize the placement of the territory label. This will only apply if your sales territory is not contiguous (several non connecting shapes) By clicking 1 (10) the software will place the label on the largest piece of the sales territory. Setting this to 2 will place the label on the second largest piece of territory. And so on. To assign the label to the piece of the territory that you clicked on at the start of this properties section then click on "set clicked" (11)

At the bottom of the sales territory properties you will see a summary of all the imported data (12) that is assigned to this sales territory and also a count of all the account segments (13)
