Using the Lasso Territory tool you can select multiple territories and assign them to the same district. Before you begin make sure you have created a district. For more information on how to create a new district read Assigning Territories to Districts
For this example we will be selecting the southern Texas area and Louisiana. Once you have found the area you want to use proceed to step 2.
First activate the Lasso Select button in the top left (1) and the click on Lasso Territories (2)
To use the Lasso Territory Tool Just click on any territory and hold down the left button on the mouse. Next, still holding the left button down lasso all the territories you want to include in this district assignment. Then let go of the left button and move on to the next step.
This Summary pop up will show you exactly what territories have been selected and also the data within them. If everything looks good click Next and move on to the next step.
First select the action you want to take. Create a new territory will combine all of the territories you selected into one brand new territory. The second option will add all of the territories to an existing territory. Third Option will unassign all of the zip codes and accounts in the territories you selected. The fourth option will Assign all of territories to a single district (1). For this example select the fourth option. Then from the drop-down menu select the district you want them to be assigned to (2). Then click Next (3) to confirm the action.
Now you have assigned all of those territories to the Southwest District.
