Why the Paste from Clipboard tool is useful
Updating account locations and zip-to-territory assignments is faster when you can work directly from Excel. With Paste from Clipboard, you can select a list of accounts or zip codes in Excel and paste them into AlignMix to take action immediately—without extra imports or manual editing.
What you can do with a pasted selection
- Assign the selected accounts or zip codes to an existing sales territory
- Create a new sales territory from the pasted selection
- Delete the pasted accounts (when cleanup is needed)
Background
A similar workflow existed in the now-discontinued Microsoft MapPoint, which allowed users to paste data directly into territory mapping software. AlignMix brings that same convenience to modern sales territory design and realignment.
