AlignMix gets better on a steady schedule, with new features, current map data, and fixes rolling out regularly. To get all of that, you just need to keep your copy up to date, and it’s a one-click job you should do every few weeks.
Updating the Software
Click File, then Update AlignMix Application, and the update runs. That’s it. We recommend doing it every couple of weeks so you’re always on the most recent version, which means you get the latest tools and, just as important, the latest geographic data underneath your maps.

Why Staying Current Matters
Updates aren’t only about features. ZIP codes and boundaries change over time, and a stale map will quietly misplace customers (that’s part of why ZIP code boundaries need to stay fresh). Running the current version keeps the geography under your alignment accurate, so the territories you draw reflect the real world. It also means the tips and how-tos you read here match what you see on screen. If an update ever asks you to re-enter a code, our guide to re-activating AlignMix covers that.
